Mark
Mah, President and CEO
After years in the information technology
industry, Mark discovered a growing passion
for solving this generation’s most pressing
problem – energy consumption and creation
– and its effect on the planet. He leveraged
his years of experience and engineering
training, applying these skills to energy
management and production. Since 2005, Mark
has been involved in various clean tech
initiatives in wireless sensing networks,
renewable energy, carbon offsets, carbon
credits, energy efficiency, etc., leading
to founding NergyOS.
Mark is a serial entrepreneur with proven
track records in founding 2 other startups
– StarNet Technologies, Inc., a pioneer
in voice-over-DSL, in 1997, returned 25X
ROI via 1999 acquisition by Netopia (NYSE:
Mot); founded RIQTek, enterprise product
lifecycle management portal, in 2003.
Mark brings deep experience in sales, product
management and system engineering. Mark
has filed numerous and been granted 2 patents
while working for Turnstone Systems, AMD,
and Netopia.

M.N. Raj, VP
Service Operations
M.N. brings over 12 years of operational
experience to NergyOS where he is responsible
for all aspects of the service offering
-- operations, technical services, hosted
NOC, support, and integration.
Entrepreneurial in nature and never afraid
to take on startup challenges, M.N. has
consulted on numerous startup ventures before
co-founding NergyOS. Most recently Raj
was an expert in an European carrier's emerging
services by providing 3D environments for
mobile devices. His deep technical and operational
background assisted in defining not only
the technology but also the business models.
M.N. has also participated in the solar
industry, including a management role alongside
his father at Greenviron Systems in India.
This small consulting firm is dedicated
to supporting emerging small business by
sourcing and installing sub-10kW solar power
plants for various small industries. |

V. Kishor,
VP Engineering
NergyOS engineering activities are in the
extremely capable hands of Vasu. His commitment
to creating smart energy solutions can be
found in his creative and effective leadership
in NergyOS software development, QA, and
product management, all achieved while managing
a global organization that spans 3 time
zones.
By his ability to recruit and motivate a
core group of technologists and developers,
Vasu and his team were able to deliver NergyOS’
current service platform and foundation
for more services, generating results for
a growing and significant user base. Prior
to co-founding NergyOS, Vasu spent 11 years
as product manager, technical lead, and
developer, building up his experience in
managing products, project groups, and streamlined
product cycles and processes, for several
multi-national communication technology
companies, like Nortel and Wipro. |

Andy
Carlson, Chief Architect
Andy is responsible for architecting and
defining NergyOS’ service platform. He brings
a rich legacy of experience as Software
Technical Architect, having implemented
a variety of systems which address complex
distributed systems issues such as performance,
reliability and scalability. Andy is widely
respected for his work in applying distributed
systems and integration technologies. He
is contributor to the Object Design Patterns
community and has published several papers
in this area, some of which can be found
in Addison Wesley’s series of books on patterns.
Before joining NergyOS, Andy spent 20 years
working for AT&T, Keane Ltd., and Tech
Mahindra. He was one of the 3 founders of
AT&T Labs in the UK in 1995 taking a
key role in building up an organization
of 40+ technical staff. From 2002 onwards,
at Tech Mahindra he has played a similar
role as one of the founding team of Planning
and Inventory Business Unit. |
