Mark brings the passion and vision to inspire others to help grow NergyOS. After spending years in the high tech industry, Mark discovered a growing passion for solving this generation´s most pressing problem - energy use and creation - and its effect on the planet. Since 2005, Mark has been involved in various cleantech initiatives and ventures in wireless sensing networks, renewable energy generation, carbon offsets, carbon credits and energy efficiency, leading to founding NergyOS, Inc.
Mark is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record in co-founding two other high tech startups: StarNet Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in Voice-over-Broadband technology, in 1997, which achieved early adoption by carriers and SMB´s across the US, Europe and Asia, securing OEMs like Samsung, Nortel, Intel, Allied Telesyn, etc., and returning 25X ROI to investors via acquisition by Netopia in 1999 (NYSE: Mot); and RIQTek, an enterprise product lifecycle management portal, in 2003, for the outsourcing industry. RIQTek was acquired by ITS WEB of Japan in April 2006. Mark brings deep experience and the skillset necessary for growing an emerging enterprise, in areas of business planning, fundraising, sales, marketing, product management, design and system engineering. Mark was granted two US patents in high-speed system design while working for AMD, Netopia and Turnstone Systems.
